S.M.A.R.T Goals
For example, a S.M.A.R.T. goal would be something like, “In two weeks, I want to be able to do a set of bench press at 90 pounds.” It has a Specific target (“set of bench press); it’s Measurable (90 pounds); it’s Achievable (assuming you’re at a point where you can build up to 90 pounds); it’s Relevant (hey, this is a workout program after all); and it’s Time Limited (“two weeks”).
